One of the primary benefits of CPC ads is that an ad can be sent to any page in one's site. Despite this fact, many new advertisers link all ads to their home page or pages that are only mildly on topic. This leads to lower conversion rates and a corresponding lower ROI (people who actually buy or inquire).
Captiva works with clients to design specific landing pages that will maximize the effect of the ad and ensure that each page has a strong call to action. Studies show that when people click into a site, they immediately scan the page to see if it contains the information that they are looking for. If it is not readily apparent that the page contains the information that they requested, the majority of people back out.
We created a custom landing page so that visitors to the Spartech site could graphically view the divisional structure of the company or search for a specific product.
