Captiva Marketing Lands on Inc 5000 List at Number 2353
Continuing its history of company growth by providing sound marketing advice for clients, Captiva Marketing once again landed a spot on the annual Inc 5000, this year at number 2353. The internet marketing company gained the ranking with a three year growth of 106% and was ranked as number 213 in the advertising and marketing industry.
"It's no secret that the past three years has been hard for businesses across all industries, and marketing and advertising were some of the hardest hit companies during these years of economic uncertainty," said Mark Forst, President and Co-Founder of Captiva Marketing. Founded in 2002 by business partners Mark Forst and Bill Brasser, Captiva Marketing was born out of a desire to reduce marketing budgets and increase ROI. Forst realized that sales leads generated from his then company's website were significantly less expensive than leads gained from traditional marketing techniques such as advertising, direct mail and trade shows. Before Google was a household name, Forst discovered that search engine marketing efforts could effectively drive sales to websites, and there were specific factors that he could control in order to improve results.
Eight years later, Forst and Brasser now lead a group of 21 employees dedicated to many facets of internet marketing: search engine optimization, ecommerce, web design, web development and online public relations.
